Meet the Team

Family Practice Associates (FPA) has been serving the Wilmington, Delaware community since its founding by David and Ethel Platt in 1941. Since then, our experienced medical professionals have been committed to providing high-quality customer service, medical experience, and a dedication to health and wellness for our patients. From preventive care to long-term conditions, our team offers personalized care to patients of all ages. Plus, we work with a network of specialists to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Our practice also provides comprehensive diabetes education and management, and mental health counseling. Family Practice Associates is affiliated with the Aledade Accountable Care Organization (ACO) which partners with practices to assist them in providing high quality, low-cost comprehensive care. At FPA, we believe that every patient deserves high-quality medical care, and we strive to make every visit stress-free and positive.

David Krasner, DO, FAAPP

Dr. David Krasner, DO is a Board-Certified family medicine specialist in Wilmington, DE and has been practicing at Family Practice Associates since 1989. He graduated from The University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health in Des Moines, Iowa and completed his family practice residency at Temple University. Dr. Krasner is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians and is the medical director of the Envision Weight Loss Center of Delaware. He is also Board Certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Krasner is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a Clinical Instructor at Jefferson Medical College.

Jerry Gluckman, MD

Dr. Jerry Gluckman comes to Family Practice Associates with over 30 years of clinical experience in internal medicine. Dr. Gluckman received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Brown University in 1973, and his medical degree from Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Christiana Care in Wilmington Delaware. His medical experience includes being in private practice and part of medical group practices in the Wilmington area since 1987. When Dr. Gluckman is not working he enjoys reading novels, both fiction and nonfiction, listening to rock and roll music and watching old movies. His leisure time is spent with his family and hiking in the state parks. Dr. Gluckman is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to taking care of families.

Lauren Gutirrez, FNP

Lauren Guttierrez is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her BS in Biology with a minor in psychology from Grove City College in 2011 and continued on to get her BSN as a Registered Nurse and MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Thomas Jefferson University, where she graduated with honors in 2014. Her previous work experience includes working as a Registered Nurse doing home care, and then after finishing her MSN she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a retail clinic for 6 years. When she is not working, she likes to spend her time salsa dancing, traveling to the beach, eating Mexican food and spending time with family. Lauren is very excited to be working in primary care and is looking forward to taking care of both new and established patients of Family Practice Associates.

Lindsay Kelly, APN

Lindsay Kelly was born and raised in Delaware. She received both her BSN of Registered Nursing degree (2009) and her MSN Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Delaware, graduating in 2014 with Sigma Theta Tau honors. Lindsay worked as an RN on a step-down cardiac floor for nearly 6 years. She then worked as a FNP in both urgent care and primary care; and then most recently specialized in cardiology, before getting back into primary care. She joined Family Practice Associates in October of 2018 and is thrilled to be back in the primary care setting. She is a proud member of the American Nurse Practitioner Society. She and her husband recently welcomed a baby boy into their family.

Tina Young, PA-C

Tina Young has been a Board Certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA ) since 1999 and a graduate of Drexel Hahnemann University (1998). During her career of over 20 years, she has served in Family medicine, Community health, Long-term care, and Internal medicine. PA Young’s clinical practice includes disease prevention, health promotion and improvement, chronic disease management and weight management. Her time away from clinical practice involves time well spent with family, painting, hiking, reading and loving LIFE!
